The Art of Happiness; inspired.

“We need to learn how to want what we have NOT to have what we want in order to get steady and stable Happiness”
Dalai Lama XIV,
The Art of Happiness

Over the summer I studied a method of meditation called Vipassana. Basically, this technique teaches you how to create a daily balance of happiness within every challenge AS WELL AS within every sense of blissful-pleasure. Not to say that bliss shouldn't be filled with excitement & enthusiasm and challenges shouldn't bring a sense of somberness, because feeling the 'experience' of any current event allows you to develop the awareness, strengthen, and balance of being present. And what has helped me, that knowing whatever the 'experience' may be it will soon pass on and a new one will occur, that to always remain equanimous.

Whether you have heard of 'The Art of Happiness' before now, the message (in a nut shell) talks about finding happiness in each day as each day brings beauty and appreciation, kinda like a beautiful piece of art.
(if you have anything to add on the "Art of Happiness', feel free to share!)

I was inspired to start {another] blog and take my Passion & Love of Fitness and intertwine all the areas of 'The Art of Happiness' into "The Art of Fitness'.

So, if you're a fitchick, bodybuiler, yogi, mother, father, single parent, man, women, teen, boyfriend, girlfriend, anycolor-anykind, housewife(or husband), old, young, middle-aged, retired, work-a-holic, diamond-dealers, fashionistas, stock brokers, entrepreneurs, skinny, heavy, tired, energetic, world-traveler, sober-someone, want to get clean-sober-and-healthy, sick, healthy, workout junkie, foodie, cook, nutrition lover, unmotivated, uninspired, passionate, determined, sedentary, creator, artist, bored, busy, italian (yes, I had too I love being Italian!), introvert, extrovert, mediator, director, producer, agent, publicist, musician, actor, comedian, actress, or 'I never exercise, I just look like fit', or maybe 'I wish I had time to exercise' or even 'I stay at home for every thing' person (I think I got every one covered)...............

My goal is to reach YOU in some way that will bring more health, balance, strength, awareness, (maybe a laugh or two) and every day happiness & appreciation; the Art of Fitness.
